Laramie County Community College Adjunct Instructor, Automotive and Diesel in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Under general supervision, provides instruction to students enrolled in courses with the Automotive and Diesel programs. Performs other activities related to teaching such as assessment, evaluation and reporting student performance and progress in assigned courses in accordance with the College and School policies and procedures. Assist with establishing and maintaining workforce partnerships, and developing course/program materials

Applications are reviewed and positions are filled on an as needed basis.

Compensation: $700 per credit hour.

  • Conducts lectures, discussions, and other teaching activities

  • Collects data, evaluate and report student performance and progress in assigned courses

  • Participates in assessing the effectiveness courses and program

  • Assist in revising curriculum and updating program/courses and instructional materials

  • Schedules time to be available to students outside of scheduled class time

  • Cares for and maintains classrooms, lab and equipment

  • Serves as a substitute for full-time instructors


  • Associate's degree in either Automotive or Diesel Technology

  • ASE Master Technician Certification in Automotive and/or Diesel Technology


  • Two (2) years of work experience in the Automotive or Diesel industry

  • Two (2) years of teaching experience
