The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), provides Integrated Product Support, Sustaining Engineering, Systems Integration and Interoperability, Systems Engineering and Test and Evaluation services. The customer organizations served by NSWC PHD include NAVSEA sponsor organizations, U.S. Navy vessels, U.S. Navy shore activities, the navies of allied nations purchasing services, and industry partners.
The Systems Engineer shall perform system engineering/technical support for establishing testing, upgrading, supporting of operations systems, networks, hardware and software. The Systems Engineer will conduct Power monitoring onboard CVN 78 during Radar Operations.
A highly qualified candidate will possess the following attributes:
Experience with US Navy Power Monitoring Systems and Radar Operations
Electronics Technician or Operational Specialists experience
Education requirement, HS Diploma or GED
4 Years US Navy Surface Ship Experience
Demonstrated ability to work within a team
Ability to work independently, attention to detail and superb customer interaction
Active Secret Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required.
