Job summary:

Conduent Technical Services is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (BA) within the Advantage application Support Team leading as a liaison between external and internal clients. SBA will serve as a liaison between the external Advantage clients and internal development teams to ensure proper system support and all changes are well defined, meet the documented and agreed upon business requirements, and ensures proper implementation of the requested changes.

This position will be located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey (other USA locations, including remote , may be considered for strong candidates) and will report directly to the Director of Application Development and Support (HR Systems).

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create functional and technical requirements, lead meetings, foster vendor relationships, and project management

  • Requires candidate to be able to handle a great deal of project management and multi-tasking activities across multiple clients and multiple carrier files:

  • Facilitate communications among all parties, as needed

  • Responsible for agenda, meeting notes, action items (and follow up), and next steps when organizer of a meeting

  • Lead discussions and respond to questions

  • Responsible for status reporting to all internal and external stakeholders

  • Escalate to client team in case of any issues

  • Responsible for ensuring issues are resolved without impacting SLAs

  • Provide guidance to Technical/Operations Analysts as and when needed

  • Ensure responses from carriers are provided timely, escalating to client team if necessary

  • Diagnose, resolve, perform impact and root cause analysis in relation to system issues

  • Analyzes requirements and defines technical solutions.

  • Strong technical knowledge for writing and interpreting technical specification documents, operational process flows, quality assurance control plans, and standard operating procedures

  • Responsible for resolving client escalations and related participant issues quickly and effectively

  • Develop strong partnering relationships with client teams, third-party vendors, ancillary service providers, and internal teams

  • Seamless delivery of assigned work, special projects and issue resolution

  • End-to-end testing experience with development teams and vendor

  • Learn and navigate multiple systems and their related tools

  • Intermediate understanding of SQL databases and excellent T-SQL skills with the ability to understand and write queries and database objects

  • Assists in the preparation of technical plans and cooperates with business assurance and project staff to ensure that appropriate technical resources are made available.

  • Provides advice on technical aspects of system development and integration.

  • Ensures that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly.


  • Technical/Computer related bachelors degree or above is highly desired

  • A minimum of five (5+) years of experience in a System Analyst role

  • Must have working knowledge of SQL, MS Office, MS Excel, and MSWord. MS Teams would be a plus.

  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems and their related tools

  • Possess the ability to diagnose, resolve, perform impact and root cause analysis in relation to system issues

  • Project management skills desired

  • Ability to multitask

  • Benefits Administration knowledge required – Health & Welfare preferred

  • Health & Welfare domain experience highly desired

  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal and written)

  • Have the ability and desire to and work both independently and as part of a team

  • Must be currently eligible to work in the United States for any employer
