Bank of America Senior Reporting and Data Analyst - Risk Analysis Specialist II in Charlotte, North Carolina
Candidate will be individual contributor managing and leading efforts for credit risk information delivery for Home loans products. On a monthly basis supporting data / report production and performing Data analysis following appropriate RDA (Risk Data Aggregation) and EDM guidelines. Candidate will also create and maintain existing documentation for each processes they are responsible for. Work very closely with business partners for new requirements, validating results for existing deliveries and remediating issues. Coordinates the monthly production of performance reports for senior management. Reviews and analyzes trends in current report.
Candidate will be required to work in Charlotte NC location
Required Skills and Experience:
3+ years of Tableau experience
3+ years SAS Advanced programming experience
3+ years SQL Advanced programming experience
Teradata or SQL server database experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience within a Financial institution experience
Experience working on production report /data delivery (monthly / weekly /daily)
Understanding of Risk Data Aggregation (RDA) program and the Enterprise Data Management (EDM)standards
Experience in creating and maintaining process documentation – desktop procedures, QA / QC, Runbook, metadata, end to end data lineage (KBE/PDE) etc.
Independent Leader with strong communication skills (presenting, speaking, writing) who can work with business partners as well as internal team members
Contribute in analyzing root cause/problem/gap analysis and has multi-tasking skills and detail oriented
Exposure to Regulatory Reporting
Mortgage industry experience
Experience leading and managing process development
Enterprise Role Overview
Responsible for performing complex analysis and is engaged in the development of modeling that maximizes profits and asset growth and minimizes credit and operating losses and other risk exposures. Provides analytical support on various product strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of performance reports for senior mgt. Reviews and analyzes trends in current population distributions and recommends strategies. May participate in or develop complex program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modelling. Master's degree or large data experience preferred; Programming experience like SQL, SAS preferred and/or Micro Strategy experience preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience.
