Job Summary:

The Receptionist will maintain and monitor the front desk and reception area for TTI Floor Care as well as provide excellent customer service with internal and external customers. This position is the first line of communication within the company and the right candidate must act in a highly professional and enthusiastic manner. This position must successfully manage multiple, responsibilities in a collected, professional manner and solve problems efficiently and creatively.

Reception Duties

  • Receive and greet visitors with positive and helpful demeanor.

  • Alert proper contact of visitor arrival and arrange escort for visitors into appropriate office space.

  • Maintain reception area, place orders for office equipment and supplies, break room supplies and mailroom supplies.

  • Operate telephone console to receive and transfer calls to personnel designated by caller or nature of inquiry.

  • Receive visitors and contact personnel requested by visitors and announce visitor's presence.

  • Provide all visitors with security badges and direct or arrange for escort of visitor to proper location in the office.

  • Ensure that front desk is covered at the beginning of each business day beginning at 8:00am.

Office Support Duties

  • Ensure that meeting rooms are clean, well-stocked and orderly on a daily basis. Coordinate with the appropriate administrative assistant to ensure items are cleaned after a meeting.

  • Maintain inventory of all basic office supplies. Organize and stock supplies in kitchen(s) and supply closets in an orderly manner.

  • Assist Human Resources with new employee new hire activities

  • Special projects as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:


  • 1 years of related office work experience in relevant business environment.

  • Maintains a positive representation of TTI Floor Care as the first interaction visitors will have with our company and employer brand.

  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and welcoming customer service focused demeanor.

  • Strong work ethic with excellent attendance; must be on-time and reliable.

  • Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.

  • Must display high degree of professionalism with a positive approach; demonstrated ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse group of people.

  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and office equipment.

  • General understanding of basic administrative support requests, formats, procedures, etc.

  • Team player with ability to work independently under general supervision; self-starter that possesses a sense of urgency.

  • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
