Bank of America Program Manager - Corporate Treasury Project Management in Charlotte, North Carolina
Corporate Treasury Project Management is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Treasury Business Technology team (TBT), which focuses on delivering critical business initiatives for Treasury. In support of Treasury objectives, this position will be responsible for managing the end to end delivery of complex initiatives, facilitate cross-team coordination with senior stakeholders and develop plans with business and support partners to sustain the change. The projects facilitated by this role are in direct support of Treasury's strategic plans and will have significant exposure to a wide array of senior leaders. The role will require leadership for workstreams in a matrix environment to deliver the initiatives and influence the strategic direction. Given the enterprise nature of Treasury, the candidate will gain broad knowledge of and exposure to a wide range of the company's business units. The candidate will be required to work closely with other Treasury business functions, Global Technology and Operations (GT&O) and various other lines of business to successfully deliver the project.
This project manager role will require the individual to lead, manage and deliver Treasury initiatives. The individual will need to work collaboratively develop the strategy and plans to deliver the initiative. They will partner with key representatives across the Corporate Treasury functions to work through the phases of project delivery including defining requirements, design, testing andimplementation. This individual will get significant exposure to senior stakeholders across Treasury through leading initiative routines to communicate progress, issues, risks and key decisions.
Effectively manage the end to end delivery of Treasury initiatives
Lead project teams to develop and execute initiative delivery plans
Provide leadership and influence strategic direction
Identify and document business requirements
Establish and lead initiative routines
Identify, track and resolve issues and risks related to the initiative
Partner with senior stakeholders across Treasury LOBs, Data Management, Technology and other lines of business to ensure collaborative progression through the delivery lifecycle
Build and develop product expertise to support the initiative
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently with tight and changing deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Organized and able to work on multiples tasks with limited supervision
Ability to lead/facilitate discussions across various levels of stakeholders/support partners
Solid work ethic and willingness to take on new initiatives
Ability to effective communicate complex and/or technical information
Excellent computer skills, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
Prior experience working in project management and/or related areas
Finance or business experience with product knowledge of banking and capital markets products (loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, etc.)
This position may be filled as a Program Manager or Project Manager based on skills and experience.
