Bank of America Product Consultant in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Key member of the Deposit Pricing and Fees team. Responsible for analysis of Non-Sufficient Funds/Overdraft (NSF/OD) fees, Account Service Charges (ASC), Value Added Deposit Services (VADS), along with Fee Refunds and Waivers for Bank of America. The role includes monthly reporting along with a significant amount of analysis to understand performance and customer behavior. In addition, this role is responsible for identifying new trends, opportunities, potential issues and providing key inputs to the forecast process. The individual will partner with Product, Finance, Analytics, Operational, Risk, Compliance and Legal partners on a regular basis.

Specifically, this individual will:

  • Provide ongoing analysis and review of key fee-related performance metrics with senior leaders in various organizations (Consumer, Small Business, Finance, etc.)

  • Perform comprehensive analysis to size the impact of potential strategy changes and remediation of issues

  • Provide well-developed recommendations as part of the forecast process

  • Develop and socialize strategy changes that weigh all financial, compliance, customer and associate experience implications

  • Identify fee-related issues and lead remediation efforts

  • Develop and manage control and measurement plans for key fee-related initiatives

  • Ensure procedures, job aids, knowledge guides and other resources are accurate & maintained

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience working with cross-functional partners, e.g. Channel, Finance, Compliance, Risk and Technology to understand and address key business challenges

  • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and drive projects to completion

  • Experience using data management and reporting tools such as SQL and/or SAS

  • Advanced Excel user comfortable using analytical tools such as Pivot Tables and V-Lookups

  • 3+ years’ experience creating presentations using MS PowerPoint

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Problem solving and root cause analysis

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience in financial analysis, consumer deposit products/pricing, or fee management

  • Bachelor’s degree
