Bank of America Process Design Consultant I in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Engages with business partners to analyze, implement, and update processes by utilizing sound process improvement models and techniques. Manages design or redesign of processes or projects using six sigma methodologies. Integrates best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement. Builds action plans and drives execution. Applies business redesign concepts, practices and DFSS tools. May manage teams to achieve process or project objectives. Processes are within a product or service delivery within a single business unit or department and are typically directed toward improving a single business, product, or function. May be Green Belt or Black Belt certified.

  • Effectively analyses Consumer Lending process and audit results and determines and implements solutions designed to resolve issues and improve key performance indicators.

  • Implements projects designed to meet evolving compliance and risk policy and develops/manages project plans.

  • Position has a target focus on realizing Operational Excellence opportunities in Consumer Lending Sales, Credit & Underwriting depending on specific assignment; however, may be assigned to other areas as needed

Required Skills:

  • Strong Consumer Lending background

  • Mortgage Compliance and Regulatory expertise

  • Demonstrated success working in Matrix organization

  • Proficient in problem analysis and solution design

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong process analytic ability

  • Strong Presentation skills

  • Good business judgment for risk/reward trade offs

  • Strong Financial Analysis Skills

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in process design
