Bank of America Lead Software Engineer (Mainframe – Middleware – API) in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Position Summary

  • This person will be working on the Customer Notification Engine as a Lead Developer. Candidate needs to have a mix of Mainframe, Middleware and API knowledge to be successful in this role. As Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting functional requirements from various lines of business and converting the requirements to Features and Stories.

Required Skills

  • Must have good understanding and development experience with Mainframe, Middleware and API tools.

  • 5+ years of Software Development.

  • Vendor/API Tools: (Not all required, but need to know most)

  • SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Syniverse, Monitise, CACS, STRATA, Bureaulink, RESTful APIs, Mule ESB

  • Middleware Technologies: (Not all required, but need to know most)

  • Java J2EE, WebSphere, Hibernate, Spring, XML, HTML, CSS, SOAP UI, Subversion, Putty

  • Mainframe Technologies: (Not all required, but need to know most)

  • DB2, VSAM, IBM QREP, Datastage, COBOL, REXX, Easytrieve, Sort, CICS, JCL, BMC, Changeman, Endevor, Abendaid, Xpeditor, DataStudio, Fileaid, FileManager, CA7, Autosys, Remedy, Maximo
