Bank of America Associate Project Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

TheAssociate Project Managerrole manages and works on multiple initiatives and tasks both small and complex in scope. Other key activities include but are not limited to, methodical troubleshooting of issues, development of enhancements for existing tools particularly related to internal automation, efficiency and simplification endeavors. Works with stakeholders to gather requirements and performs analysis as required. Works independently with limited direction. Builds strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and is considered a trusted advisor, collaborator and team player. Demonstrates good judgment and exhibits strong risk awareness. Capable of driving concurrent initiatives/tasks and prioritize effectively. Able to engage and partner closely with peers as well as executives on initiatives. Operates with a sense of urgency and has a strong delivery mindset.


  • Responsible for performing complex analysis aimed at driving business decisions utilizing data from various sources

  • Must have the ability to analyze data, tell stories and observe trending through data visualization

  • The core focus of the group is building a suite of key performance indicators for a variety of executive level operational metrics

  • Candidate must be intellectually curious with a mind for innovation and proven ability to develop/execute on objectives in a data driven environment

  • This includes quantifying value to build compelling business cases and delivering persuasive executive level presentations

  • Detailed knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and operational metric analysis preferred

  • Participate in the development and implementation of key business initiatives / projects that support the organization and firm goals and business strategy

  • Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

  • Identify and define new process improvement opportunities

  • Interpret data, analyze results and provide ad-hoc/ongoing reports

Requirements Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau and databases (SQL)

  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst

  • Technical expertise regarding data mining and data mapping

  • Excellent at creating PowerPoint Presentation a MUST

  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office including Access and Excel

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

  • Detail oriented, ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task

  • Ability to communicate both vertically and horizontally to obtain partnership and engagement required to accomplish deliverables

  • Ability to analyze issues quickly and use sound judgment to identify solutions

  • Fosters an atmosphere of innovation and enthusiasm

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
