The Technology Remediation Execution (TREX) Reporting team is a relatively new team that has been established to provide reporting services for the Wells Fargo Enterprise, with specific focus being on support for the TREX program/initiative. Since the program spans ALL lines of business across the firm, the TREX Reporting team is tasked with not only maintaining the current level of functionality as is provided to various consumers, but also to establish a brand new, strategic Business Intelligence infrastructure that will serve as the underpinnings of TREX reporting for the foreseeable future.

This position in the TREX Reporting team is for a mid/senior Business Intelligence developer. This role involves maintaining existing reporting services in the RDLC process by consuming enhancement requests via dedicated Business Analysts and stakeholders, designing and developing solutions, and supporting functionality once released to production. Another core competency of the role will be to work alongside other senior team members and Enterprise architects, DBA’s, BA’s, PM’s, etc and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of a future state architecture. In all responsibilities, the candidate must be able to assist with requirements documentation, UAT testing, deployment planning, support of production reports, etc.

The role will specifically require:

  • Participation in the TREX Reporting RDLC process, which includes business requirements gathering/creation, solutions analysis/design, development and deployment support.

  • Understand both the technical aspects as well as the hands-on practical use of all artifacts such that there is an understanding of strategic execution.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on TREX Reporting and look to continually expand knowledge of the infrastructure and Reporting capabilities, with particular focus also on gaining business knowledge.

  • Operate using standard Business Intelligence principles and values.

  • Actively participate in regular group discussions on new system functionality as well as provide updates/status of in-flight work.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience

  • 5+ years of business intelligence experience

  • 5+ years of Business Intelligence experience using SAP Business Objects Suite of tools

  • 3+ years of Tableau experience

  • 3+ years of Report Development Lifecycle (RDLC) experience

  • 3 + years of SharePoint development experience

  • 3 + years of experience with Agile tools

Desired Qualifications:

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence solutions and implementations

  • Knowledge and understanding of business intelligence development and reporting

  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as VersionOne and Team Foundation Server (TFS)

  • Experience designing and developing learning for complex technology systems and processes including Agile development methodology environments
