Title: Account Sales Manager - 54650

Your Responsibilities

As an Account Sales Manager for John Deere located in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will manage large National Accounts and Distributors for Ag and Turf in support of the growth and profitability initiatives for the All-Makes Parts Division. In addition, you will:

  • Develop new customers, growing existing relationships through new placements, coordinate pricing/ programs and ensure we meet the customer needs in these channels

  • Channel planning, develop customer actions plans, introduce products, trade shows, customer sales calls and complete profitability analyses on every major customer

  • Utilize strong analytical and customer centric skills to be successful

  • Work Closely with Large Corporate Buyers to sustain organic growth through strengthened relationships

  • Lead Large Customer Projects with all respective functional areas of the All-Makes Parts Division

  • Successfully Manage 50+ Accounts while traveling extensively throughout the US and Canada

What Skills You Need

  • Effective negotiating and selling skills

  • Knowledge of marketing and selling

  • Proficient in Sales planning, Account Management and Customer Relationship experience

  • 5 or more years of experience in a sales field

  • Advanced Level of Proficiency in Power Point

  • Advanced Level of Proficiency in Excel

  • Experience in Presenting to Large Groups of People

  • Ability to travel 50-75% on regular basis (6 weekend trade shows per year)

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Knowledge of the Ag & Turf Industry

  • Knowledge of Ag and Turf Equipment

  • Experience in Analyzing Project Proformas

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Degree in Business, Management, or equivalent discipline
