West Virginia Employer Secretary/Administrative Assistant (TEMP) in Charleston, West Virginia

Secretary/Administrative Assistant needed for a temporary position with a division in the stateis commerce department. An employee hired for this position will work for 1,000 calendar hours. There are NO benefits with this position and the work assignment could end before the 1,000 hours is obtained. A qualified applicant must be able to perform advanced level clerical support for the administrative personnel, Director .and.amp; Assistant Director. Responsibilities will include high level secretarial, clerical and general administrative duties. Some duties may include organizing an appointment calendar, screening visitors and telephone calls, answering routine correspondence, may transcribe minutes from meetings, and may set up computer webinars. Will organize and sort files alphabetically and chronologically. Will do special projects and reports; may type correspondence, reports, forms, contracts and other documents related to office material. Will search and gather information from State and Federal Government websites. May schedule meetings for Executive Director and Assistant Director. Will attend meetings on behalf of supervisor. Work is strictly confidential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to type 45 wpm. Must be able to work any schedule between the hours of 8 am to 5 pm, 3 to 5 days per week, Monday i Friday. Perform other duties as assigned.
