Job Description

In this highly visible customer centric capability role, you will be driving the global rollout of the new GBT traveler facing technology products. As a Project Analyst you will be assisting in managing a portfolio of projects, managing the day-to-day operation of the program, and providing status updates. Your immediate goal is to ensure successful global migration of GBT customers to the new traveler profile platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects to achieve global migration of GBT customers to the new traveler profiles platform and to decommission legacy platforms

  • Understand the platform architecture and dependencies necessary for deployment or migration

  • Create and manage project plans including managing project resources to ensure strategic goals are met. Establish and monitor project success metrics

  • Assist in managing multiple geographically and functionally dispersed stakeholders to drive program objectives and ensure scope and approach are understood across stakeholder community

  • Monitor the progress of all concurrent migration activities/ projects and ensure timely and effective communication of the status and assessment of risks/issues

  • ­Oversee quality assurance and ensure appropriate levels of end-to-end testing are undertaken

  • Assist with preparation and delivery of project status presentations to senior leadership


  • ­Must have strong understanding of project management life cycle and various methodologies such as Agile and PMP

  • ­Minimum 5 years of managing projects in a product delivery or technology projects environment

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of results through metrics and KPIs

  • Able to work effectively and efficiently toward aggressive goals in a complex, diverse, virtual team environment with multiple and changing demands

  • Compelling verbal and written communications and influencing skills, across multiple countries and cultures, must be fluent in English

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex technical platforms

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders in conveying product direction, strategy, and projects and requirements

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Recognize and solve problems quickly and escalate as appropriate. Stay calm under pressure

  • High proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS SharePoint

  • Expertise in at least one GDS and at least one online booking tool or third party traveler profiles product preferred

  • PMP certification preferred

Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
