Medical University of South Carolina UNIV - Open Rank, GI Division Chief - Pediatrics: Gastroenterology in Charleston, South Carolina
The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Pediatric Gastroenterologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to serve as the Division Chief to the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology. Currently the Division includes four faculty members and four nurse practitioners.
The successful applicant will establish comprehensive gastroenterology services within MUSC Children’s Health System. Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching, research work, administration, institutional service and professional development. Physician duties include the supervision of the clinical nurse specialists in addition to coordinating care with a multi-disciplinary team. MUSC serves as a regional center with a full complement of pediatric sub-specialists.
Candidates must be board eligible or certified. Successful applicants should have or be eligible for a South Carolina Medical License. Candidates must be a US citizen or permanent US residents who are eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina.

Payscale Salary Range: UNIV-Band 0: Commensurate with experience.
