Applied Memetics LLC Systems Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia
Applied Memetics LLC (AM LLC) is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a Veterans Affairs program.
The Clinical Knowledge Management (CKM) program is part of Veterans Affairs' Connected Health Office (CHO) that provides benefits and services to Veterans. A primary goal of the CHO is to design and implement user-friendly, high-quality mobile devices, software, and services for Veterans and their medical caregivers. Specifically, the CKM program ensures a seamless clinical, portfolio, architectural, and operational optimization of these mobile health applications.
Proficient in design, development, production, installation, to include test & evaluation of computerized systems, associated systems and/or subsystems
Excellent communication skills and a good command of the English language
Experienced as a team member and subject matter expert in an Agile/Scrum development environment
The systems engineer must have experience in:
Planning and engineering of multi-platform systems’ infrastructure to provide the framework for system/application design, to include implementing and designing hardware/software
Monitoring the performance of systems
Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, which includes a variety of tasks that require a wide degree of creativity and latitude
Providing expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and education to the client and/or project team based on specialized deep expertise in hardware and software design
Analyzing, evaluating, integrating, and monitoring key program events, including recommending changes to the multi-platform environment to maintain interface capability to technical data for interoperability and implementation of configuration management systems
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent experience may be substituted.
Experience working in federal government environments is preferred.
