CACI International Software Developer, Lead in Chantilly, Virginia
Responsible for researching, designing, developing and/or modifying software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS). Presents ideas for system improvements. Develops cost estimates for software developments or enhancements. Conducts impact analysis for software changes. Produces detailed specifications and writes software code. Works closely with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements. Conducts unit tests and documents findings. Supports formal testing in controlled environment before code is promoted to production. Adheres to program configuration change control standards. Provides input into training manuals for users. Understands the structure and functionality of the COTS applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, and Momentum). Writes interfaces and conversion routines leveraging the application programmatic interface (API). Extends applications by using applicable application tools. Maintains knowledge of feature and technical changes in the application.
You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and bug fixing of the Standard Procurement System utilities within multiple supported webMethods environments. This includes the writing and maintaining of complex application source code and the web-UI .jsp and .dsp pages. You will be required to create complex database DML scripts to be used within the utilities as well as scripts that can be used to support the Help Desk and CST teams. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the Procurement Data Standard (PDS) and NAVFAC eContract integrations as well as be responsible for other ongoing development efforts. At times you will be responsible for overseeing multiple developers for a development effort. You will be responsible for supporting the Help Desk and CST teams to troubleshoot and remedy issues that have been called in from production and test sites. In addition, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the technical specification and unit test plan documents as well as reviewing functional and test documentation for accuracy. You will be responsible for the creation of all Standard Procurement System utility installers using the latest approved version of InstallShield along with the creation of webMethods installation images and installers.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
10 Years of job-related experience and a High School/GED diploma, or
8 Years of job-related experience and an Associate degree, or
5 Years of job-related experience and a bachelor’s degree, or
3 Years of job-related experience and a Master’s degree
You must have development experience with the following:
3 years’ experience developing webMethods flow and Java services
3 years’ experience using My webMethods, webMethods Broker, and TN Databases
3 years’ experience developing web-based UIs
3 years’ experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
3 years’ experience writing Technical Specification Documents and Unit Test Plan documents.
2 years’ experience with the Standard Procurement System / Procurement Desktop Defense (SPS / PD2)
2 years’ experience integrating with DoD contracting systems using webMethods
1 years’ experience with Procurement Data Standard (PDS) Integrations
3 years’ experience with Sybase and Oracle SQL
3 years’ experience developing with Java EE and Java Script
3 years’ experience with HTML, XML, XSLT, and CSS
The following would be nice to have:
AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps certification
InstallShield development experience
Background in webMethods Application Platform
