Job Description

CACI is seeking skilled Senior Application Developers to support our Program in Chantilly, VA

What You’ll Get to Do:The Software Developer shall create a new Java-based rules engine for the FA&D application, residing in Amazon Web Services “cloud” environment. The new rules engine shall be separate from the payroll system, but will have interfaces with the payroll system to retrieve and send employee, pay differential, and other data. The new rules engine shall meet the Sponsor’s enterprise IT standards, such that it may be granted formal Approval To Operate (ATO). It shall be designed to permit ongoing compliance with these requirements and standards, and as well to be upgradeable to new releases of software and operating system versions and libraries.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI clearance with Poly

  • Experience developing using the Java coding language

  • Experience developing Java-based enterprise web applications

  • Experience developing applications using at least one of the following JavaScript libraries: JQuery, AngularJS, and/or React

  • Experience developing applications using relational databases

  • Experience writing SQL statements in the context of Java application development

  • Experience developing applications in Amazon Web Services environment

  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment

  • Demonstrated experience working independently or under limited direction/guidance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience using Spring and/or Spring Boot libraries

  • Experience developing applications using JavaServer Pages (JSPs) and/or HTML5

  • Experience using Object Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks such as Hibernate

  • Experience using Java Persistence API (JPA)

  • Experience with automated testing (unit test, integration test, UI test), using tools such as (but not limited to) JUnit, Spring Test, Cypress.io, and Jest

  • Experience developing using RESTful web services

  • Experience developing applications in Amazon Web Services environment

  • Agile project management certification (for the Project Integrator position)

  • Experience using the Oracle Primavera P6 tool for time charging

  • Experience using JIRA issue and project tracking software

  • Experience documenting or mapping the Sponsor’s business processes related to overseas travel (and associated pay entitlements)

  • Experience performing IT development or project management on projects directly relating to the client's travel systems
