Electrical Engineer/Facility Planner

Key Role:

Leverage project management expertise to manage major recapitalization projects and building renovation projects. Review engineering drawings for any changes to the government’s facilities. Oversee and coordinate operations, maintenance, repair, and inspections of all equipment and mechanical rooms, coordinate maintenance, repair, and engineering for the vertical transportation systems, and oversee and coordinate activities with the trade shops, including prioritization of work, review of ongoing projects, and inspection of installed equipment. Oversee and coordinate electrical work orders, service orders, and projects. Support cost estimates, documents, and reports. Serve as essential personnel in the event of an emergency.

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with power specialty EE

-2+ years of experience with construction or project management, specification writing and shop drawing review, cost estimation, and surveying and preparing design packages for new and existing electrical systems

-Experience with building management systems and AutoCAD, managing major building renovations and recap projects, and reviewing engineering drawings

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED
