CACI International Corporate Financial Planning Analyst in Chantilly, Virginia

Job Description

As a Corporate/Sector Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for working with the Sector Finance Lead, reporting to Corporate Finance Lead for Rates and Sector reporting. Overall responsibility includes rate budgeting, forecasting, variance and other related financial analysis; rate management for the segments and pools associated with the Sector; developing financial models (when needed); supporting Corporate initiatives that improve business processes for the CACI Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile, analyze, interpret and report Sector rate-related financial data

• Support annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting and financial close reporting requirements, particularly as it applies to various rate issues

• Support the development of the overhead rates for the Sector, in conjunction with the Corporate

Finance Lead and the Sector Finance Lead

  • Work with the Sector finance team to ensure integrity of program data (i.e., overhead pools, CACI vs Client site, market, solution segment, etc.)

• Collect/format/assemble financial data for senior management, to include:

  • Monthly rate report analysis for the Sector

  • Monthly Sector Financial Reporting

  • Sector data variance analysis for the quarterly earnings call

  • Ad hoc reporting

• Prepare financial models to support business planning exercises

• Effectively communicate orally and in writing

• Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience

  • Understanding of the Federal Accusation Regulation’s (the FAR) Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field

• Strong analytical skills; the ability to work independently; and effectively handle and complete multiple tasks

• Experience with various IT financial systems, advanced Excel skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a finance function with a government contractor where responsibilities included program financial management, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling

• Understanding of financial statements

• Working knowledge of Accounting

• Knowledge of CostPoint and Hyperion
