What You’ll Get to Do:
Prepare new contract actions and contract modification documents for approval and processing.
Perform data entry within the system of record.
Assist with the tracking and reporting of contract activities.
Organize and maintain contract records.
Support the drafting, printing and packaging of administrative contract modifications for CO action and obtain signature at CO direction for administrative actions.
Utilize systems and tools to generate reports to track the status of contract actions.
Work closely with Contracting Officers to finalize any correspondence, reports, procurement document, audit requests and other material.
Assist with a variety of pre-and post-award contract administration and management support services.
More About the Role:
- The position supports the office's contracts team performing contract actions, all of which need to be reviewed and approved by a supervisor. The need is for transactional support but has the opportunity for dynamic support. Communication is critical, both verbal and written.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Polygraph
One to two years of contract administration experience.
Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication.
Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
Demonstrate organization and analytical skills.
Ability to develop a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and statutes.
Working knowledge and understanding of Software Applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and various database tools and applications.
Ability to develop working knowledge of the system of record for acquisitions and contracts data.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
High School Diploma of GED required. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred, in Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Administration or a closely related field of study.
Proficiency with financial management systems and tools.
