Job Description

Join CACI as a Business Systems Analyst supporting applications that provide enterprise visibility to Acquisition program information from across the Department of Defense.

Under general supervision, you will work closely with clients to provide functional support, assisting customers with technical issues as well as policy questions related to Acquisition reporting, perform account and hierarchy management, and gather application requirements, while providing client support to build close customer relationships. Using the functional knowledge that you will gain on the job, you will also perform system testing to ensure application functionality works correctly and meets the customer and stakeholder needs.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to properly prioritize and multi-task. You will be an integral member of our project team and will have direct access to the customer and stakeholders. You must be able to work collaboratively with our project team in an Agile environment to ensure we are implementing optimal solutions for our customers. DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

  • Gains on the job knowledge of Department of Defense Acquisition Reporting and system functionality.

  • Serves as an integral member of a close-knit team.

  • Works with the team to understand and resolve problems, resolves customer complaints with software, and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.

  • Performs Customer Support duties to include responding to functional and technical queries and monitor through resolution.

  • Performs requirements gathering and analysis, designs, tests, and troubleshoots existing functionality and enhancements

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Work with clients and stakeholders to gather high-level system requirements and produce functional requirements documentation for the solution of problems within the suite of applications. Work with the team to ensure requirements are fully understood, collaborate on application designs, and provide assistance with overcoming obstacles faced during development.

  • Perform Customer Support duties to include responding to functional and technical queries and monitor through resolution.

  • Submit written status reports.

  • Perform account management activities when other team members are out.

  • Research and resolve customer system access and/or operation related issues.

  • Support and actively participate in customer and stakeholder meetings.

  • Conduct testing (regression, acceptance, and integration) to ensure quality and validate requirements.

  • Provide basic training to end users on the applications via webinar and tailored desk-side training. Assist and facilitate classroom training, as needed.

  • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and identify solutions to new and emerging business processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 0-2 years of related experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.

  • DoD Secret clearance must be obtainable – though Active DoD Secret clearance is highly desired.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Experience with the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, and testing.

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.

  • Experience interfacing with clients.

  • Experience with DoD Acquisitions.

  • Experience working with individuals of varying levels of technical knowledge.
