What You Will Do:
You will utilize your years of experience in Life Insurance sales and/or Life Insurance customer service and support, combined with your passion for coaching and developing others, to supervise a growing team of inside Life Insurance Sales representatives
You will conduct regular one-on-one meetings with your team members, and provide meaningful and actionable feedback and coaching to help them to successfully achieve their current and future performance and career goals.
You will collaborate with other department supervisors, and contribute to the development of a formal training program that will include a focus on areas such as our products, our processes, providing an excellent customer experience, call quality, and other topics as necessary.
Partnering with our leaders, you will contribute to the development of effective lead sources by providing research and recommendations for new and viable lead channels.
Through your experience and effective coaching and development of a team, you will have a direct impact on ensuring that we reach and exceed our company sales goals year over year!

You will become an expert in all of the Transamerica insurance products and processes.

What Success Looks Like:
Collaborating with other supervisors, you will contribute to the creation of effective universal training material
Implement a training process for newly hired sales agents, as well as ongoing training as needed
You will conduct regular one on one meetings, side by side oversight, and call quality feedback and coaching to ensure that your team is providing the very best in customer service excellence
You will provide new and innovative lead sources
Through your creative and out of the box thinking regarding training, your effective coaching, and development of a team, you will contribute to achieving and surpassing the company’s annual sales goals
What You Need:
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field or equivalent experience.
Five years of customer service/related experience.
Two years of life insurance sales/service experience.
FINRA Series 6 and 63, or obtain within six months.
Strong product knowledge.
Problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
Written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities under pressure.
Ability to grasp technical and complex concepts and convey to staff and internal/external customers.
Team lead or supervisory experience.
FINRA Series 65
CLU/ChFC/LUTCF/FLMI designation or progression toward industry certification.
