What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran?


The Mechanic is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pumps, vehicles, and sewer and/or water distribution systems and equipment while complying with all company Health & Safety procedures and policies. Must be able to dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; to examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, as required for emergency call-outs.


What will you need to succeed?


? Must have high school diploma or educational equivalent.? Requires the ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.? Must have the ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees.? Must possess or be immediately able to obtain a valid Illinois State CDL.? Must be willing to work schedules which may include weekend or holiday duty, carry a company provided radio, and be willing to respond to emergencies at any time.? Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
