Proficiency with internet applications, such as YouTube, Google Drive, etc. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.Additional Information:All offers to be made by HLS Human Resources.Department:Faculty Support ServicesPre-Employment Screening:Education, IdentitySchedule:35h per week; Monday through Friday - 9am to 5pmJob Function:General Administration Duties & Responsibilities:Working under the direction of Harvard Law School faculty members and Faculty Support Services, provides a wide range of highly skilled administrative and project support. Assistant is a liaison between faculty members and students, external contacts, and various Law School administrative departments. Proficiently executes a range of advanced technical applications in support of administrative, teaching and research activities, anticipates daily needs of faculty members and updates supervisors on status of tasks and projects. Performs general office duties including photocopying, filing, ordering office supplies, placing catering orders, and reserving space for meetings and events, processes financial payments and reimbursements using Concur and Oracle platforms for Purchasing Card and/or Corporate Card, responds to internal and external requests for information, processes recommendation letters. Proofreads and edits documents, maintains accurate and organized paper and electronic files, maintains class web sites using Canvas platform, posts course materials and announcements.
