experienced Pre-sales Consultant who provides strategic direction and is a
trusted advisor for upmarket clients in the Technology/Manufacturing Industry
across North America.
The ideal candidate will
utilize past industry knowledge and thought leadership, in concert with Oracle
Cloud CX products to facilitate transformational solutions and eliminate pain
points for a client’s business.
Facilitate Presales Activitiesfor Oracle CX product sales cycles
Possess a deep understanding ofthe customer experience life cycle
Possess experience working withenterprise Tech/Manf Services Clients
Have a Presentation excellenceskillset:
Havethe ability to construct credible and interesting value messaging byusing benchmarks and industry evidence to leverage and create apersuasive point of view in order to educate clients and, in turn, closethe gap between the opportunity and the sale.
As a CX Senior Sales
Consultant you will be the expert responsible for formulating and leading presales
technical / functional support activity to prospective customers while ensuring
Our team leverages expertise
and knowledge from all our team members; serves as the quarterback for the
Sales Consulting team and acts as a technical expert and mentor for less
experienced Sales Consultants.
Strong focus on building bothinternal and external business relationships.
Liaison to product management,development and strategy teams to ensure we lead in our market.
Focus on large or complex salesopportunities that need creative and complex solutions and bringinnovation to our solution and messaging.
Develop productivity tools andtraining for other Sales Consultants.
Develop and delivers outstandingOracle CX presentations and demonstrations to Upmarket clients in the Tech/ManfIndustry.
Lead all aspects of thepre-sales technical sales process.
Advise internal and externalclients by creating industry specific solutions which drive efficienciesand long-term business transformation.
The Sr Pre-Sales CX Technology/Manufacturing
Consultant will take the lead as a CX content contributor and SME, both
individually and as a part of the Technology/Manufacturing Services Industry
team, to provide direction and mentoring to others. The Sr Presales
Consultant will understand that the role charter – the work we do - is
non-routine and very complex. The work involves the application of
advanced technical/business skills in Customer Experience. As such, the role
5-7 years of technical sales,presales, and/or solution engineering/consulting experience.
5-7 years business experiencewith relevant information technology, cloud-based applications, and/or Technology/Manfindustry.
Possess the ability todiscover, design and develop solutions with complex/advanced productfeatures.
Have thorough knowledge ofsystem and application design
Have in-depth knowledge ofSaaS, IaaS, and PaaS Oracle competitors, as well as current events relatedto the Technology/Manf Industry.
Demonstrate project managementskills.
Have excellent verbal andwritten communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, businessjustification, closing techniques.
Have the ability to persuadeothers through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
Be available to travel asneeded (up to 50% of the time).
Hold a Bachelor’s degree orequivalent is required, advanced Graduate degree highly desirable in abusiness or technical field or MBA

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product
- s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
