Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

This position is full time, reports to the Sr. Director of Escalations, in Cloud Operations, and located in the United States (Seattle area, preferred).
Work within a high-performing team in tracking and communicating our progress solving complex problems cloud customers face at-scale. The Cloud Operations Group escalation team provides just-in-time action for customers who have faced operational and support challenges that have visibility at Oracle s executive tier. Ultimately, a program manager in this team is focused on coordinating activities within Oracle s support, operations and engineering teams around highly-escalated customer-driven projects. The technical program manager works hand in hand with our escalation engineers to resolve customer issues through sharing best practices, training, and tooling.
Work with engineering and operations teams to create project plans for customer driven projects.
Coordinate with stakeholders to track progress around project plans.
Communicate with customers, stakeholders and executive teams around risks, issues and progress.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction by being a trusted advisor
Act on behalf of the customer as their cloud operations team, partnering with engineering, platform operations and customer service teams to restore customer availability
Work as part of our extended support team in a startup atmosphere, doing whatever it takes to exceed customer expectations.
Focus on customer restoration and communication during service impacting events
Continually improve team skillsets through live experience and training
Continue to build the core function of servicing customer-driven escalation projects as part of an ongoing program management work stream, including:
Tracking and reporting on key metrics for success.
Developing new service offerings or processes to improve serviceability
Technical / Core Requirements:
B.S. in Business Administration or related field preferred, or at least 10 years industry experience
Entry to mid-level technical experience in at least 3 essential cloud computing technical areas:
oVirtualization & Compute, including hypervisors (VMWare, Hyper-V, Xen or others)
oStorage and storage subsystems (SAN, iSCSI, or others)
oNetworking (Cisco, Juniper, or others)
oApplication Development (Java, .Net, Python, or others)
oDevOps (Chef/Puppet, Jira/TFS, or others)
oOperating Systems (Linux variants, Windows)
oPerformance investigation & triage (Browser, thick client)
Discipline in managing customers expectations throughout the escalation process, including strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable in high pressure situations
Customer obsessed and passionate in delighting customers
Strong understanding of Cloud concepts and platforms
Experience in Cloud technical support and operations
Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domain, then train others teams
Desired technical skills
Hands-on experience working in project tracking systems such as Jira, TFS, or others.
Comparable implementation experience working with a public cloud provider (Amazon, Microsoft, others)
Experience with helping customers become cloud ready .
