Oracle America, Inc. currently has Santa Monica, Burlington, and Austin based openings for the Enterprise Sales Executive position reporting to the Oracle University global business unit. Utilizing a programmatic approach, this person is responsible to build and sell complete education services programs inclusive of cloud-based learning subscriptions, IP solutions, change management services and traditional instructor lead training events to the Oracle customer base through face to face and virtual meetings. The Enterprise Sales Executive is responsible to ensure all technical and Oracle technology end users are fully functional with Oracle technology.

Preferred sales experience –

  • 5 years of individual quota carrying, direct sales experience selling to the senior executive level within Fortune 500 companies.

  • Strong business acumen for uncovering, evaluating, growing and closing sales opportunities within a dynamic and extremely time sensitive environment.

  • Ability to manage a large number of active accounts while simultaneously uncovering and closing new sales opportunities and new customers.

  • Documented, consistent success exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets through thorough account planning and weekly forecasting sessions.

  • Experience developing and expanding upon existing customer relationships at multiple levels and across multiple functions within each organization with the ability to leverage those relationships to drive strong quarterly sales bookings.

  • Understanding of Oracle’s integrated technology solutions including the core technology stack, ERP applications software, Oracle’s SaaS, Paas and IaaS solutions, hardware products and engineered solutions.

  • Ability to navigate complex business processes and legal requirements to negotiate win-win contractual agreements.

  • Articulate verbal communication, professional business writing and presentation skills.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells Oracle's training services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory. Deals are not usually complex.

Sell Oracle education and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the Education sales offering. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of an Education value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key sales influencers.

Job duties are varied and need independent judgment. At least 5 years field sales experience with focus on larger accounts including Education or related sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent.
