CVS Health Application Development - Senior Analyst in Buffalo Grove, Illinois
As a Sr Analyst, Application Development, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality IT products. The Senior Developer is essential to ensuring the successful development and production of our Salesforce applications. Additionally, the Sr Analyst will serve as subject matter expert, providing guidance to team members and is responsible for the development and support of projects through all phases of the SDLC.
Additional responsibilities of the Sr Analyst, App Development will include:
· Partner with both business teams and technical teams
· Support full life cycle of application software development from project conceptualization, planning, development, and implementation.
· Evaluate, design and implement applications using Salesforce best practices.
· Leading smaller scale projects as Project Owner
· Serving as Tier 3 (application level) support escalation for the Enterprise Service Delivery (support) team
· Add features and functionality to existing applications
· Review development processes, techniques and client systems for potential improvements.
· Complete required documentation of applications including enhancements, changes, bug and implementation.
· Complete required documentation of development processes.
· Consult, assist and advise other developers.
· Accountable for projects of high complexity.
· Work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks.
3+ years of information technology application development experience
2+ years of hands on experience with Salesforce.com, Apex development or Visual Force
3+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (concept to deployment)
3+ years of experience with relational databases, SQL, and application languages such as Java, C++-, etc.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills (e.g. eye contact, voice inflection, body awareness, and ability to hold an audience and command respect)
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills
Ability to provide coaching and feedback and serve as a mentor to department employees

High School or GED required with relevant experience
