The Center acts as the marketing engine for IBM, driving and assisting in a variety of marketing campaigns spanning a spectrum of products and business units.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

As a Content Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping teams write effective narratives and design/strategies content blueprint

  • Writing concept briefs and ensuring asset briefs are aligned to the creative vision developing concepts for testing forging content partnerships

  • Creating content and/or managing external creators to bring concepts to life

  • Reviewing content data to make content optimizations and build / adept content strategies

  • Leveraging Optimizely to A/B test content and Kapost to manage workflow

  • Creating and sharing best practices and standards based on data

  • Participating in content salons to inform ideas and optimizations

  • Managing the Kapost implementation and platform for the group (when available for Europe)

  • Reviewing the global content calendar for areas to collaborate

  • Pulling relevant content from around the company for potential reuse

  • Regular interlock with World-Wide team to pro-actively discuss address gaps

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 3 years proven experience in a content role, preferably at a publishing company, new media company or agency.

  • Proven ability to project-manage, multi-task and publish content for many projects and multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts.

  • Ability to deeply understand and profile target buyers – their needs, wants, beliefs, as well as how they learn about cutting edge technology and what type of content engages them.

  • Initiative and self-drive to work in a constantly changing environment.

  • Digital and social media savvy.

  • Fluent English, other European language is a plus.
