Mattel (Associate) Key Account Manager in Brussels, Belgium
In this position, you will be part of the Belgium sales team. You will be responsible to carry out the activities of sales and promotion focused to achieve sales objectives for customers. You will look for new opportunities to develop toy business in customer. The role is focused on execution with supporting activity for strategy, activity planning, and other functions.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
Manage day-to day retailer relationship and being responsible for customer orders & sales.
Lead trade terms negotiations and manage the negotiation of trade activities.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of retailers’ and toy market dynamics.
Understand shopper trends and category analysis.
Manage analysis of customer requirements and potential business opportunities and the annual account planning including longer term strategies and objectives.
Develop retailers plans and ensure follow up, corrective action plan, tracking of growth opportunities.
Trade Marketing & Activity Planning
Manage customer Range Planning & Selection and promotional Planning & Trade execution.
Coordinate implementation of actions at POS.
Create scorecard and KPI follow up.
Manage delivery of customer data requirements, performed by Sales Assistants.
- Engage with Customer Service to inform Customer buyers about product availability and delivery timings.
Manage budgeting of promotions and product forecasting.
Track of trade activities and evaluate trade activity performance.
Monitor and evaluate customer’s business performance including effectiveness of trade spend
University degree in Economics, Business Administration or related field (Bachelor/ Master/ Diploma).
Minimum 3 years’ of proven sales experience in a multinational (high seasonal) company, dealing with Hypermarket/Retail or Big Accounts, at least 1 year experience with managing key accounts.
Fluent in French, English and Dutch.
Excellent MS Office Skills.
Good Selling & negotiation skills in international environment.
Strong understanding of digital landscape: E-retail / Omnichannel.
Being able to create successful teamwork and to work in a high energy, fast paced environment.
Ability to connect with various retailers’ departments and leverage all opportunities (buyers, marketing, trade marketing).
Good influence skill and Communication skill and a highly competitive mindset and customer orientation.
