May also perform on-site maintenance and repairs of company owned machinery, equipment.PaR ValuesIntegrity & Honesty, Client Driven, Growth Oriented, Individual Responsibility, Open Communication, Develop Our People, and StretchEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUphold and exemplify PaR ValuesInstall and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipmentDemonstrate ability to read and interpret schematic and PLC logic symbols for the purpose of troubleshooting, fabrication and assembly of electronic components and circuitsDemonstrate skills in crimping, soldering and connector assembly and repairInstall rigid and flexible conduit, shielded cable, wiring and components IAW engineering drawings and schematic diagramsDemonstrate and maintain proficiency in the use of various test equipment such as multi-meter, ammeter, digital strip chart recorder, oscilloscope and insulation tester (Megger) for use in troubleshooting and testing components and equipmentEnsure quality work is performed IAW the National Electrical Code and common standards of practiceDemonstrate and maintain proficiency in the use of common power and hand tools such as drills, hydraulic hole punch, pipe threader, grinders and taps, for use in construction and installation of rigid and flexible conduitMaintains clean and organized work areaAdheres to all safety policies and proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedWork with applicable assembly to provide necessary electrical supportCommunicate daily with Manufacturing Manager concerning work goals and other requested work related information.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions, extreme cold; extreme heat. While working in plant, the noise level is usually moderate to loud. The employee will be working with and exposed to high and low voltage electrical components. This work is performed on an industrial manufacturing floor and electrical laboratory.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand or walk.
