System Administrator 3-IT

Job Description: We are currently looking for experienced engineers to help define and deliver Global IT Mobile Solutions that exceed employee expectations. Working in the Employee Automation and Compute organization, the successful applicant will provide engineering capability for analysing, selecting, implementing, and supporting mobile solutions. The position requires an established engineering record that can demonstrate consistent delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the business requirements.

You will be a leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and administration for existing mobile solutions deployed by Global IT.

  • Monitor, Maintain and Administer Corporate-Wide UEM/EMM Solution in conjunction with agreed policies, standards, and operating practices especially regarding data privacy.

  • Understanding of Mobile operating systems including but not limited to Android and iOS and their relevant development programs.

  • Understanding of relevant Mobile AppStores and how they work in countries where Oracle operates.

  • Familiarization with MacOS and Windows 10 platforms to assist with design and delivery of new EMM features.

  • Creating and maintaining operational support documents, user guides, self-help guides for implemented solutions.

  • Work with project teams in identifying, reviewing, specifying, implementing and providing tier 4 technical support for mobile solutions. To be the expert in what solutions can, and cannot, do.

  • Work with various internal teams such as Global IT Risk Management and Service Transition to implement solutions.

  • Able to create and deliver training packages to various support teams across Global IT.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as required, and propose and implement changes aimed at continuous improvement.

  • Work with multiple Engineering and Operations teams to collaborate on projects and integration

  • Work closely with primary system administrator to identify and report bugs and issues and implement changes as necessary

  • Assist in maintaining the development, stage, and production environments to implement new device policies and test upgrades

  • Works closely with 3 rd party vendor support teams to provide solutions

  • Acts in a leadership role to guide and mentor Mobile Support Virtual Team members

Core technical qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile solutions, especially on Apple and Android

  • Experience deploying mobile applications in the enterprise

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science

  • 3 years mobile experience

  • Enterprise integration experience

  • Experience in designing and implementing advanced technology architectures

  • Experience with integration of multi-user, multi-platform, complex solutions

  • Workspace ONE Administrator experience or certification preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.

Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. Propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Work with others to define, coordinate vendor purchase needs. Responsible for support documentation as well.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field.
