Job Description Summary:
Sets up and breaks down conference rooms according to event orders as well as maintains cleanliness standards for equipment and meeting rooms.
Review assignment sheets with supervisor
Set-up meeting rooms according to client’s needs
Attend to any equipment needs or other guest needs
Keep all areas of conference center spotlessly clean in good repair
Refresh/re-set meeting rooms
Adhere to conference center and departmental service standards
Communicate effectively with guest and supervisors
Report any malfunctioning or broken equipment to supervisor
Communicate changes, last minute request or client needs to the next shift
Ability to lift tables and chairs, up to 50lbs
Availability to work a variable schedule, to include weekends and evenings
Must have a clean, valid driver's license
Excellent interpersonal skills, focusing on providing superior guest service
Must be able to communicate both orally and written in English
