Director Of Nursing Assisted Living - Woodland - Location: 3860 - GSS Woodland 100 Buffalo Hills Ln E Brainerd, Minnesota, 56401-4554 United States Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: 62,400.00 - 65,582.00 Shift: Day Job Summary The Director of Nursing Services in Assisted Living is responsible for managing, leading, and directing nursing services for residents residing in Assisted Living in our Senior Living Apartment setting as well as our Samaritan Houses. Areas of responsibility include: Department Administration, Resident Care, Resident Rights, Safety, Infection Control, Quality Assurance, and Performance Improvement Projects. Candidate must have excellent leadership, communication, and supervisory skills, along with the ability to motivate, guide, develop and support staff in a changing work environment. Candidate must be dedicated to upholding the GSS Mission, along with continually seeking ways to improve resident care and quality of life. Our team is looking for someone who possesses not only excellent management skills, but who can also serve with compassion and has a strong desire to serve seniors within a Christian framework. The successful candidate must have 2-4 years of leadership experience, preferable in a long term care and/or similar health care setting. This position requires a Minnesota RN License. Our Woodland campus is located in the attractive Brainerd Lakes area. No on call rotation, No weekends, and No Holidays. This position does require some flexibility as the needs change. Qualifications * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensure for state of practice is required. * Basic ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to measure and comprehend certain quantities; * Knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
