Renew and expand existing client contracts
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors within current and new divisions of existing accounts
Build awareness of Skyword?s perspectives and business solutions throughout client organizations
Expand Skyword?s footprint within our existing client accounts by analyzing their needs and developing innovative solutions
Develop leads and opportunities and owning the entire sales cycle
Create Proposals, Playbooks, Order Forms, and other sales materials to support territory growth
Maintain appropriate communication and collaboration with Skyword sales and services team members to facilitate outstanding client service
Update Salesforce with detailed activities and next steps to provide full visibility into accounts, opportunities and forecasts.
7+ years of relevant work experience as a Key Account Executive or Senior Sales Account Executive
Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in complex sales environments
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Proven ability to present and explain the technical elements of products or services
Proven ability to retain and grow multiple accounts, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Knowledge of current marketing trends, technologies and best practices
A deep-seeded curiosity and openness to learning new things
Ability to develop and pitch fresh and innovative ideas to clients while demonstrating how those ideas will drive business value
Proficiency in developing territory and account strategies, creating customer relationships, and accelerating the closure of enterprise agreements
Strategic thinker with excellent execution abilities
Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to negotiate and problem-solve
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment
Proficient in programs including Gmail, SFDC, PowerPoint, and Excel
Travel up to 50%
