Eurofins Product Testing searching for a Laboratory Technician in Bothell, WA.

The job is driven to help perform technical mechanical and chemical analysis with the aid of fellow laboratory personnel and independently as desired. Maintain laboratory equipment.

Laboratory Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following*:*

  • Perform laboratory testing on consumer products to produce reliable and precise data.

###

  • Prepare specimens and samples for analysis.

###

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and minor repairs to instrumentation.

###

  • Perform routine housekeeping including cleaning of equipment. Maintain, store and properly dispose of materials as needed.

###

  • Ensure safety procedures are followed.

###

  • Record test data and interpret results.

###

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

###

  • Assist in developing new test methods.
The ideal candidate would possess*:*

###

  • Developed and validated new methods

###

  • Experience with HPLC-MS,GCMS or ICPMS

###

  • Experience with Agilent software/instrumentation
Basic Minimum Qualifications*:*

###

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent education and/or experience.

###

  • Knowledge of proper laboratory techniques and protocols

###

  • Knowledge of operation and maintenance of test equipment

###

  • Computer literacy required including Microsoft Office applications.

###

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

###

  • Self-starter, independent, pragmatic

###

  • Flexibility and ability to learn new skills

###

  • Motivation and ability to solve complex problems

###

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy

###

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of success

###

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance ofBothell, Washingtonare encouraged to apply.
