The Compliance Solutions Relationship Manager serves as a Client advocate and leader for strategic customers within a complex and high revenue client base. As the primary engagement point, the Relationship Manager is aligned with senior decision makers and influencers of the client’s organization focusing on immediate and long-term relationship development, retention, satisfaction, and growth. Success as a Relationship Manager requires a strong background in sales, business development, account management, and customer success. Key measures of success in this role are YoY revenue growth, contract renewals, NPS, referenceability, and Smart Compliance adoption within assigned client base.


  • Lead contract compliance, negotiation, and renewal engagement

  • Partner with Sales, Implementation, and Service teams across client lifecycle to ensure delivery on commitments

  • Drive growth by introducing new ADP products and services.

  • Coordinates with internal and external resources to ensure client issues are addressed and resolved

  • Develop client account plans and lead internal partners in execution of annual plan

  • Lead periodic operational and relationship reviews

  • Engages client decision makers to understand client vision and goals in outsourcing through ADP

  • Ability to travel 40% -50%


  • BS/BA in Business discipline or the equivalent in education and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of managing relationships or selling to large enterprise size client s in ERP, HCM, HR, Payroll, or other software and professional services.

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Remote possibility, preference within close proximity to client book of business

  • Experience partnering and influencing across a matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executive levels within client organizations and third party partners

  • Strong financial and business acumen

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

  • Management of multiple and complex relationships; strong conflict management/resolution experience

  • Strong HCM, HR/Payroll Compliance industry knowledge
