Kforce Project Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Boston, Massachusetts (MA). Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Director and PMO Project Manager with the management of project artifacts, meeting facilitation, meeting notes, action items, task scheduling, issue/risk management, lessons learned, and project administration

  • Facilitate sessions with the stakeholders, vendors, and EDW team to define, prioritize and plan projects

  • Develop Project Plans and Schedules that represent the appropriate level of detail and task interdependency

  • Leads the allocation of resources, resource forecast, scheduling and tasks assignments by following proper project management practices

  • Manage day to day project activities ensuring deliverables are met, risks are identified and assessed, managed and resolved

  • Leads testing and data validation efforts and ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner

  • Assist in coordinating timelines, and facilitating communication as needed with direction from the Director and Project Manager

  • Maintain respectful, supportive relationships with team members and stakeholders

  • Comply with policies and procedures

  • BA/BS degree required

  • 3 Years of IT project management experience in healthcare environment (preferably Enterprise Data Warehouse) required

  • Experience as an Agile/Scrum Coach

  • Experience managing timelines and successfully delivering work on time

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Effective communications with both technical and non-technical personnel

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies

  • Notable follow-through and dependability

  • Polished customer service skills

  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve goals/objectives

  • Proven analytic and problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience with productivity tools such as Project, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Word, Excel, WebEx, and collaboration software. e.g. Livelink, SharePoint, Confluence
