This job was posted by : For more information, please see: JOB SUMMARYThe Implementation Consultant provides implementation, training and consulting services to clients and partners, including payer organizations (health plans), care and disease management organizations, provider organizations (hospital/clinic systems), government organizations and Health Information Technology (HIT) platform vendors. The implementation service engagements are focused on increasing utilization and value of Healthwise solutions, including Care Management, Patient Engagement and Consumer Engagement.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssists with discovery and planning; consults with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to develop a vision and strategy for leveraging Healthwise solutions to achieve client's goals and objectives; develops project charter, high-level requirements and high-level project plan, provides best practices for solution implementation and change management.Manages solution implementations; consults with client stakeholders to help them drive and manage change; gathers detail requirements; conducts workflow assessments; develops detail project plans, communication plans, scalable training plans; develops training curriculum and materials; delivers training for trainers; manages product configuration and technical integration; conducts integration testing; supports go-live, roll-out and/or program launch.Assists with post-implementation review and optimization; consults with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to assess how solutions are meeting client's goals and objectives; validates reporting and evaluates metrics; reinforces communication and messaging to stakeholders and user groups; recommends changes and course corrections as needed.Identifies and qualifies opportunities to provide more value for clients with additional products and services.Contributes to the design and development of repeatable implementation service engagements.Creates processes, templates and materials to improve service quality, effectiveness and efficiency.Manages a portfolio of concurrent implementation projects with competing priorities.Manages development, delivery and ongoing maintenance of custom services and solutions.Collects and monitors project resource hours and expenses; manages project costs and timeline versus project plan.Communicates project status and issues to internal and external stakeholders.Has primary accountability for client satisfaction related to solution implementation.Manages a smooth transition to the Account Management team after solutions implementations are completed and stabilized.Requires between 20% and 50% travel; typically 10 to 25 trips per year.Performs other duties and special projects as assigned or needed.QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of client service, implementation and/or consulting experience with a strong business and technical background.Degree in business administration, healthcare information technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience in two or more of the following areas preferred:Experience in healthcare working with large payer and/or provider organizations, particularly in the areas of consumer health education, care coordination and management, wellness and prevention, shared decision making and patient engagement.Experience working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and/or Care Management (CM) applications.Experience implementing consumer-facing applications that employ web, mobile, multimedia and social media technologies.Exceptional analysis, communication, project management and presentation skills.Ability to build effective relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders at client sites.All offers are contingent upon the completion of a background check.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
