Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Boca Raton, FL.

We seek qualified candidates to work with Professor Vicki Sarajedini on a variety of projects in the area of active galactic nuclei. The successful applicant will work on topics of mutual interest, pursue an independent research program, and contribute to the scientific life of the Department of Physics at Florida Atlantic University.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. from an accredited institution, by the time of application, in Astronomy or Physics required. A working knowledge of extragalactic photometric and spectroscopic data reduction and statistical techniques for the analysis of AGN variability preferred.
