Throughout our 20-year history, Insomniac has produced almost 400 festivals, concerts and club nights for over 4 million attendees in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New York, Texas, Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom, with expansions into Brazil, Japan and India. Insomniac’s premier annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the largest multi-day music festival in North America, and attracted more than 400,000 fans over three days in June 2016. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella, and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
Insomniac Events is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to aid the Director of Marketing in the development and execution of effective marketing strategies and campaigns to meet company objectives. This person will have experience in a high-pace/competitive environment and consumer insights to inform marketing plans. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the development and execution of marketing campaigns. The Marketing Manager will report into the Director of Marketing.
Conceptualize and execute effective marketing strategies, plans and briefs
Evaluate executions during and after campaign launch for optimization
Demonstrate technical marketing skills and high-levels of company product knowledge
Develop and deliver campaign recaps, updates and brand reporting with accuracy and in a timely manner; recommendations for future execution
Manage the day-to-day marketing plan implementation and budgets
Manage relationships with outside media/PR agencies, publishers & vendors and partners
Work closely with internal talent booking, design, production & social teams to set forth and accomplish daily tasks
Manage festival asset requests, both internal & external, in order keep the campaign on schedule
Execute all initiatives given by marketing director and maintain departmental relationships
Analyze and make recommendations for potential strategic partner relationships for brands and promotions
Lead marketing efforts on site at events
Track, analyze, and present metrics to marketing leadership with insights on impact to company and clear recommendations on how to move forward
Build trust, collaborate/value others, communicate effectively (written and oral), drive execution, foster innovation, solve problems creatively and demonstrate integrity
May need to use personal vehicle to travel to business engagements, both local and out of town
Attend and work company events (domestic/international travel expected, economy class)
Must have clean criminal and driving record, valid driver’s license, passport, and car insurance
Work evenings and weekends as needed to meet deadlines and work effectively under high level of pressure and demanding time lines
Assist with other duties as assigned on a regular or occasional basis
Minimum 4-year Bachelor’s degree
Must have at least 3 years of relevant Brand Marketing experience, preferably in music and/or entertainment industries
Global/international brand experience a plus
World class marketing campaign experience a must
Most be self-motivated & able to prioritize workload in fast paced environment
Creative and production experience essential across various forms of media
Highly adaptive and proactive problem solving critical to success
Attends and works company events (domestic/international travel expected)
Adheres to all requirements for confidentiality of corporate, strategic and marketing information
Communicates effectively and courteously with all contacts – internal/external
Organizes workload throughout the day to meet project timelines
Has excellent knowledge of computer operations and software on either MAC or PC and works with a high degree of accuracy
Expert level user of Microsoft Office; use of Marketing & Research tools
Uses personal vehicle to travel to business engagements; may travel out of town on business

Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
