House of Blues Insomniac Bassrush Intern in Beverly Hills, California

THE ROLE

Bassrush is a division of Insomniac Events that is one of the leading bass music event producers in

America. We host our own events, festivals and also host stages at a bunch of Insomniac festivals as well

as run our own Independent label, Bassrush Records. The Bassrush intern would assist in all facets of

the Bassrush teams process ranging from social media, promotion and A&R.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with label department to help with certain label functions

  • Meta-data entry, catalogue management, content creation, and administrative tasks

  • Assists with other duties as assigned on a regular or occasional basis

  • Build and Maintain social media schedules

  • Research various college and high school promotional methods

  • Assist with marketing activations

  • A& R (submitting music and going to shows)

  • Community and high school outreach - influencers and brand ambassadors

  • Assist with on site social media postings at Insomniac concerts and Branded shows.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school

  • Must provide documentation from school that you will be receiving college credit for internship

  • Must be able to work out of Beverly Hills, CA office at least two days a week for four hours each day

  • Typical commitment is 10-16 hours per week

  • Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude

  • Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small

  • Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands
