Latitude, Inc. Special Project Support Specialist in Bethesda, Maryland

Growing Government Contractor looking to hire a Special Project Specialist.

The Special Project Admin will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the implementation of special IT-Related projects affecting workstation and represents NIAMS at various NIH working groups. The candidate will also perform cutting edge technology research for, but not limited to, PCs, MACs iPhones/iPads Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite tools and Active Directory to be implanted and utilized by NIAMS Partners. They will perform regular SOP creation aligned with ITIL processes and NIAMS PMO Project Management processes while reporting their findings to the Service Desk Operations Manager, Government O&M Lead and to the NIAMS CIO. The candidate will also present cutting edge technology & concepts to NIAMS Intramural Research Program and work with these stakeholders to implement these new technologies in support of NIAMS scientific research. The candidate will also be a liaison between multiple SITB teams (primarily the O&M Service Desk Team & O&M Infrastructure Team) and may provide network diagnostics reporting, security services implementation reporting, network virus protection solution policies, software deployment (via Altiris and Absolute Manage) procedures and hardware and software Lifecycle Planning for NIH/NIAMS.

Skills and Experience Required (Mandatory Skills in order of priority):

· Minimum certification requirement are A+ and/or Security+, Windows 7/10 certification or equivalent Microsoft Certification

· Strong knowledge of MAC OSX and higher

· Strong knowledge of iOS 9.0 and higher

· Strong presentations skills

· Perform end-user technical training for internal (SITB) staff and external (NIAMS

Partners) staff

· Knowledge of Active Directory in a Windows 2012 environment (3+ years? experience)

· Strong knowledge of Windows 8 and higher (3+ years? experience)

· Strong written and oral communications skills and excellent customer service skills

· Must be SOP/process oriented and self-motivated with strong reporting skills

· Must have the aptitude to adapt, learn quickly and change direction quickly

Education/Training/Certifications Required:

· Bachelor's degree with 5 year IT operations work experience, or 7 years IT Project work experience is required
