We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager focused on cross-disciplinary efforts. The candidate should be able to manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to stage gate quality and SDLC control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.


Education andExperience


  • 5+ years’ experience managing softwaredevelopment

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science,Information Systems, Business Administration,

  • or other related field. Or equivalent workexperience.

  • Project Management certification or successfulcompletion of a recognized project management curriculum is preferred.


  • Experience in managing portfolio of complexinitiatives that span one or multiple areas of business

  • Experience in waterfall and/or agile softwaremethodologies

  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate futuresoftware engineering opportunities

  • Technology leadership experience in a sourcedenvironment


  • Technical Leadership

  • Manages financials for the department

  • Capable of building project budgets, capitalexpenditures or other cost/resource estimates as requested

  • Identifies opportunities to enhance the servicedelivery processes.

  • Trains and/or mentors other team members, andpeers as appropriate

Delivering Technology

  • Performs complex quantitative and qualitativeanalyses for service delivery processes and projects.

  • Facilitates achievement of expected deliverablesand obligations of Services Providers

  • Validates completeness of requirements prior toService Provider solutioning

  • Ensures all projects follow the defineddevelopment and business case processes

  • Ensures proper coordination with appropriate ITand vendor relations teams

  • Provides consultation for routine and complexsystems development

  • Ensures early warning to the businessstakeholder executives regarding degraded or missed service levels

  • Coordinates with Application Delivery andInfrastructure teams for deployment and production support activities

IT Governance

  • Follows all defined IT standards and processes(i.e. IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc.), and provides input forimprovements to the appropriate process owners as needed

  • Maintains a proper balance between business andoperational risk

  • Follows the defined project management standardsand processes

Service ProviderManagement

  • Validates that Service Providers develop andmanage respective aspects of a project plan, including schedules, deliverables,and appropriate metrics.

  • Makes short term plans for the team toeffectively utilize resources

  • Monitors Service Provider outcomes

  • Reviews estimates of work effort for clientproject provided by Service Providers for accuracy

  • Facilitates timely resolution of servicedelivery problems and minimizes the impact to clients
