Looking for a Software Engineer with 7+ years of .NET/SharePoint experience.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct stakeholder requirements analysis, identify system needs and contribute to implementation planning.
Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.
Develop, maintain and support applications in various platforms like .Net, SharePoint, Gateway data analytics system
Serve as SharePoint developer supporting technical development, integration, maintenance and support activities.
Perform unit testing prior to moving code/configuration to the QA process. Evaluate and researches upgrades, patches and new functionality. Research defects and solve for root cause.
Support development, maintenance, integration and support activities for other applications like WordPress, Legacy applications as needed.
Maintain Applications infrastructure and security while maintaining various authentication and authorization platforms
Work closely with Data Analytics team to provide business intelligence and reporting support.
Ability to interface with stakeholders and decision makers decision-makers in a professional manner to understand their requirements and analyze these requirements in order to plan, execute, and manage the delivery of SharePoint capabilities.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
Provide SharePoint administration and Content management.
Conduct maintenance and upgrade task to ensure stability
Execute unit, system, and regression testing against all assigned development work.
Execute integration and functional testing, as requested.
Maintain development code in source control.
Perform configuration management of system environments, as requested.
Provide end-user support, perform troubleshooting and issue resolution.
7+ years of experience in software development (SharePoint and / .Net)
5+ years of development experience using SharePoint and its related tools.
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
SharePoint experience must include designer and custom workflows
Experience with all aspects of SharePoint, including roles, permissions and hierarchy, taxonomy, infrastructure design, metadata and search, SharePoint services, SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
Experience, communicating project status, defining, documenting, and maintaining processes and procedures.
Knowledge and understanding of software engineering best practice concepts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in source code version control techniques.
Self-motivated; willingness and ability to learn new technologies rapidly.
A bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
