Latitude, Inc. Inside Sales Account Executive in Bethesda, Maryland

The candidate will work to help the sales team in taking inbound calls, generating leads, creating quotes, and they will build up to making outbound calls as well. This is a position for someone that has had some sales experience, but it looking to make the next step. The right person for this role will have the position for 1 year and then be promoted into an Account Executive. A Bachelor?s is required.

Position overview:

The primary focus will be to sell transactional solutions and services to potential customers. This includes, but is not limited to, incoming and outbound calls, lead generation and order preparation. As a trusted member of the Region(s), the Account Specialist will develop a thorough understanding of products, customers, and internal processes. The Account Specialist will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager

Specific roles and responsibilities:

Establishes and maintains good working relationships with Account Executives/ Business Development Managers and other Teaching Strategies employees and clients

Clearly and thoroughly explains our solution features and benefits to potential customers

Effectively presents products and solutions to district administrators, Head Start staff, and/or child care staff

Coordinates and creates proposals and other paperwork associated with completing the sales process

Serves as liaison between Sales team members and Revenue Operations team

Develops subject matter expertise for the services and products offered, as well as pricing and proposal models

Develops a deep understanding of the early childhood education market and local initiatives to support multiple regions

Creates and maintains detailed, accurate customer records, including opportunity management, in Salesforce.com

Engages with customers at all stages of sales cycle to support Sales team

Provides good customer service with follow up on requests, questions, etc.

Answers inbound calls and emails from customers as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required

1-2 years of experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is preferred

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Ability to multitask with maximum flexibility and independence.

Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desire to work in a highly collaborative, creative, and challenging environment

Ability to travel to provide on-site oversight at national and regional conferences

Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills

Team player with the ability to build and maintain positive external relationships
