Growing Government Contractor looking to hire a Business Development Manager to their team.
The primary focus of this position is to increase clients market offerings to clients and customers (including FMS/FMF projects):
Offering solutions to OEM?s and/or Government.
Develop market approach to get solicitations from OEM or end customer.
Searching for new opportunities, identifying customers and communicating with the customer.
Identifying build-to-print opportunities:
Production ? develop opportunities for Mistral?s production facility as well as the production facilities of Mistral clients.
Oversee integration process when products are supplied by multiple subcontractors.
Gather and provide competitive information.
Read/Review manufacturing diagrams and technical data packages
Work in a collaborative manner with other disciplines within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages client account for Components to include: all marketing, business development/program management, and sales activities related to the client?s technologies, system(s) and products for application of client solutions.
Identify supplier base for component parts and parts integration; negotiate purchase agreements and oversee/manage projects associated with supply base.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company?s client base (capabilities, products, technologies), as well as a thorough knowledge of the DOD and DHS procurement/ purchasing regulations.
Conducts active, targeted searches on a daily basis of FedBizOps and buying commands? websites for opportunities (BAAs, RFIs, RFPs).
Issues USG solicitations and any supporting RFQs as appropriate to Company?s client base. Initiates and maintains a file of all solicitations that are being bid to USG or commercial buyers.
In coordination with other PMs and Company clients, prepares, staffs, and submits responses to USG and commercial RFQs.
Maintains data base of all RFQs submitted to clients for bids and proposals submitted to USG and commercial buyers.
Issues RFQs to US commercial material suppliers in support of Company?s clients.
Prepares annually a detailed business plan which covers relevant goals and objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
