As part of Diagnostic Imaging the Business Unit Imaging Components offers a unique opportunity for a Product Manager Magnetic Resonance (MR) Solutions to shape the Business Unit’s growth path in the OEM business. You are responsible for

The Product Manager MR Solutions defines business opportunities based on customer insights and translates them into winning value propositions. He or she owns the portfolio, product and claims roadmaps, and defines commercial specifications for the required products, being co-responsible for the realization of the products and the proper introduction of these products in the market.

In this role you are responsible for growing the MR Solutions business.

Key responsibilities are

  • Analyzing the market, competition, technology and developments in order to find target markets. Identifies new business opportunities with new product-market combinations within the business strategy.

  • Defining the product strategy and product plans and the translation into clear product specifications for the development department, in such a way that in short, mid and long term a sound business result can be achieved.

  • Guiding and driving the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, in order to get the optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment.

  • Preparing and plans, together with the sales channel, the market introduction of the new products, including promotion material and product information, in order to generate the largest impact in the market.

  • Managing the business during the lifecycle of the product and takes corrective actions when needed, in order to generate the maximum profit contribution during the whole lifecycle.

  • Translating mid/long term developments in the market into future product plans

  • Ensuring that product plans are integrated with planning of other disciplines, like R&D, Manufacturing.

  • Defining the business plan for new products and is in the cross functional responsibility for the product segment incl. segment business reviews with iMT.

You are a part of

You will be part of the Business Unit Imaging Components marketing team that is responsible for Upstream Marketing and New Product Development and Launch of our components proposition as well as Downstream Marketing, Digital and Communication. This position is based in Best and you will report to the Head of Marketing and Business Development. Alternative location can be Suzhou, China

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience


  • Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record.


  • At least 3 years of experience in an international business environment in marketing or product management; ideally in a high tech environment and B2B environment

  • Experience with product development and product launches is a must.

  • Experience with definition of value propositions

  • Preference for proven track record with global brands in Healthcare market

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple and diverse markets.

Personal Qualities

  • Highly entrepreneurial and eager with a natural affinity for healthcare business, and a market and customer driven approach to product creation

  • Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Ability to think creatively and pragmatically.

  • Broad interests that allow you to create multi-disciplinary environments that inspire and motivate others.

  • Ability to collaborate with local marketing and sales teams, influence others, present convincing arguments and build and maintain extensive networks

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to interact with executives and top managers

  • Solid spoken and written English skills
