Microsoft Corporation Sr. Software Design Engineer in Bellevue, Washington

We are building up a revolutionary speech-based product for Microsoft. This is a companywide strategic product to redefine the enterprise communication space. Being in the team you will get the chance to work in the center of AI revolution, together with a group of world-class researchers and developers to develop the cutting-edge technologies with a combination of speech recognition, computer vision and natural language processing, and turn them into real products that will completely change people’s daily lives in the coming years.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated developer to drive a collaboration effort with our partners to ensure successful product landing and high-quality transcription result.


  1. Comfortable with start-up style work environment: versatile, detail oriented, collaborative, can-do attitude with strong commitment

  2. Passionate and self-motivated. Strong ability in self-learning, entering new domain, managing through uncertainty in an innovative team environment

  3. Strong design, problem solving and drive to success, with a strong bias for engineering excellence at scale with a track record of shipping multiple releases

  4. Expert coding skills in one of the following languages: C++, Java, C# (5+ years)

  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  6. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field


  1. Familiarity with speech recognition, computer vision, natural language processing or related technologies

  2. Experience in large scale web services

  3. Experience in web-based application development (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.)
